A yet-to-be-identified, tree-like Solanum to about 7 m tall from the Amazon lowlands in Peru.
It has large, velvety leaves and small, orangish-brown fruits that are claimed by locals to be edible.
Germination: Soak seeds for 3-6 hours in lukewarm water. Cover only slightly with substrate: coir or sowing mix + sand or perlite. Keep bright and constantly moist but not wet. Germination takes 3-6 weeks.
