1 package of 10 seedsa tree native to Africa and introduced into Pakistan. The tree varies from 3 to 25 m in height, with a trunk diameter of 0.6 to 1.8 m.
The flowers of the tree make good forage for bees and bee hives are put directly in the trees to exploit the resource.
The wood is fairly hard and it is used for furniture, handles for implements and tools for grinding grain manually.
Germination: Scarify seeds. Soak for 24 hours. Sow seeds about 1/4 inch apart in a seed tray. Cover the seeds lightly with soil (about the depth of a seed), lightly press down the soil and water. Place above ground level in a warm, humid, partly-shaded area. Keep the soil moist but not wet. Germination takes 1-4 weeks.
