An attractive, annual herb to about 1 m tall with strongly asymmetrical, broad leaves and racemes of small, blue flowers.
Rhynchoglossum obliquum is widely distributed in forests between 100 and 2800 m from southern China and the Philippines to Nepal, India and Sri Lanka. It makes an attractive ornamental, especially for its unusual leaves.
Germination: Light germinator! Only sprinkle on the surface of the substrate + slightly press on. Substrate: coir or sowing mix + perlite. Keep bright and constantly moist but not wet.
