This lovely evergreen shrub or small tree rarely grows over 10 m tall and has a rounded crown of small, glossy green leaves. The small, white flowers are held in large clusters at the end of the branches.
Nuxia floribunda is widely distributed in forests, often along streams in eastern and southern Africa. In cultivation it does well in tropical and warm temperate climates in USDA Zones 10 and above. Germination: Light germinator! Only sprinkle on the surface of the substrate + slightly press on. Substrate: coir or sowing mix + perlite. Keep bright and constantly moist but not wet. Germination takes 6-12 weeks.
