A rather rare, rounded shrub or small tree to 3 m tall that is found only along the Central East Coast of Tasmania in a variety of habitats from coastal shrublands to dry wood and grasslands.
It holds small leaves and pale yellow flowers followed by woody capsules containing the very small seeds. An ideal and profusely flowering ornamental for warm-temperate climates in USDA zones 9 and higher.
Germination: Light germinator! Only sprinkle on the surface of the substrate + slightly press on. Substrate: coir or sowing mix + perlite. Keep bright and constantly moist but not wet. Germination takes 3-6 weeks.
