A stunning epiphyte from the understory of rainforests in Ecuador and Columbia, at elevations between 50 and 2600 m. It grows pendant shoots with elongated, drooping green leaves that have a pronounced reddish-purple tip.
The small, white, hairy flowers are followed by white fruit. It will grow well in humid warm to cool-temperate or tropical climates that have temperatures that do not drop below 5°C. Germination: Light germinator! Only sprinkle on the surface of the substrate + slightly press on. Substrate: coir or sowing mix + perlite. Keep bright and constantly moist but not wet.
