1 Package of 100 Seeds
A cushion-forming alpine plant in the daisy and sunflower family (Asteraceae), native to high elevation grassland or bogs on the South Island of New Zealand.
It forms a cushion-like subshrub or mat of tiny rosettes of short, succulent, silvery leaves. The daisy-like flowers are almost stalkless.
In cultivation, it does best in a sunny spot on moist but well drained soil in a cool temperate climate but dislikes heat and humidity. Germination: Cold stratify seeds for up to 3 months. Cover seeds only slightly with substrate: coir or sowing mix + perlite. Keep bright and constantly moist but not wet.
