A large tree native to southernmost New South Wales, Victoria and Tasmania, with colorful bark and narrow, sickle-shaped foliage. The leaves on young plants are broad and bluish.
Eucalyptus globulus is widely planted in temperate climates around the world as a forestry tree for its rapid growth and good quality wood. It is also occasionally seen as an ornamental and young trees are used for cut foliage. Germination: Cover seeds only slightly with substrate: coir or sowing mix + perlite. Keep bright and constantly moist but not wet.
